The Town of 1770 has historical significance and celebrates every May with a Festival, the landing of Captain Cook. Stay awhile and enjoy the tranquility of your surroundings. Markets are held every Sunday of the school holidays and alternate Sunday's the rest of the year. You may be lucky enough to see the SES emergency helicopter land.
