There has probably been several hides in this area, my first find was Root of a tree. Click here to visit its archived cache page.

A cache that reminds me of what I love about caching, how it brings you to these unexpected secret places.

So bring a blanket and a picnic, it can be a peaceful spot.

Today I have seen two bunnies, a magpie, and lots of sheep. Two months ago the crater was filled with newborn lambs and there mothers. Today these lambs are not so little anymore!


The cache is a camoed pill bottle, found above waist height.
