Per cercare questa cache dovrete percorrere un tratto delle trincee austriache sul fianco del monte Cimone.

Hexenkessel

Questa posizione denominata "Hauptstellung" o anche "Sektion 60" era l'estremo tratto meridionale del sottosettore "Cimone sud" che formava un cuneo nel territorio rioccupato dalle truppe italiane.
La posizione è situata sul margine sud di una conca che i soldati austriaci definirono "Hexenkessel", un termine traducibile con "Conca delle Streghe", "Calderone delle Streghe" o anche "Inferno", dal quale si comprende quanto fosse pericoloso questo tratto della linea difensiva, completamente esposto al tiro delle batterie italiane piazzate sui monti circostanti.
Tre minuti dopo lo scoppio della mina le compagnie del 59° reggimento austriaco "Reiner" partirono proprio da questa postazione per espugnare la sommità del Cimone sconvolta dalla deflagrazione.
Questa postazione avanzata era rifornita di acqua potabile mediante una tubazione d'acciaio e costituiva un caposaldo in grado di difendersi da attacchi provenienti da ogni lato e resistere fino all'arrivo dei rinforzi anche se aggirata. Era collegata alla trincea parallela sulle retrovie tramite quattro profondi camminamenti ortogonali con diramazioni che portavano a caverne di ricovero e baracche interrate per i soldati del presidio.
Lungo la trincea avanzata erano piazzate due lanciafiamme da 50 litri e quattro mitragliatrici.

Hexenkessel

This position called "Hauptstellung" or even "Sektion 60" was the extreme southern part of the sub-sector "Cimone south" that formed a wedge into the territory reoccupied by Italian troops.
The location is situated on the southern edge of a basin that Austrian soldiers called "Hexenkessel", a term translated as "Conca of the Witches", "Witches Cauldron" or "Hell", from which we can understand how dangerous this stretch of defensive line, fully exposed to the shooting of the Italian batteries placed on the surrounding mountains.
Three minutes after the outbreak of the lead the companies of the 59th Austrian Regiment "Reiner" departed from this position to conquer the summit of Cimone shocked by the explosion.
This outpost was supplied with drinkable water and was a cornerstone in a position able to defend itself against attacks from each side and to resist until reinforcements although circumvented. It was connected to the parallel trenches on the back by four deep trenches orthogonal with branches that led to hospitalization caves and underground barracks for the garrison soldiers.
Along the advanced trenches were placed two 50-liter flamethrower and four machine guns.
