Skihytta ved Tjernsli er over 100 år gammel, og KIL Allianseidrettslag har eid hytta siden 1919 mot en årlig bygslingsavgift. KIL Ski drifter og vedlikeholder hytta som blir flittig brukt av unge og eldre skigåere på vinterstid.
