This cache is placed near an establishment that I used to own. It is near an archived cache "winslpr's 1k delite" that TeamDotOne hid in honor of my 1k. The original business on this corner stood for over 50 years and I owned it for 33 years. It has changed hands a couple of times since I sold it, the name is changed and the product is slightly different. This is placed with the present owner's approval and is a slightly easier hide and not as intrusive as the original. Please be stealthy when looking for it and rehide it at least as well as you found it to keep it from being found by accident. This can be a very busy place at times.
There is an interesting story of the original hide here. A group of cachers, including TeamDotOne, visited me one night when I was working. They ordered some things, we had conversations and they all left. A couple of days later a new cache was published. I, of course, recognized where it was and rushed down in hopes of getting a FTF. I found it after a bit of a search only to find about 7 -10 signatures already on the log. The joke was on me, but I still claimed a FTF. Then a couple of weeks later, one of the cachers who had signed it originally came down to search for it and couldn't find it. I asked "Why not?, you already 'found' it once." I wouldn't help him, but he did finally find it.
