CACHE: Super muggly area. Probably best during bad weather or at night when the muggles aren't as public. Should be able to sit on the host and be sneaky about it. Park and grab. Upped D rating for muggle factor.
RUBEN GARCIA lived in the apartments here for many years. He was a Lapeer icon. He was always present during downtown events and worked in many restaurants in Lapeer. Ruben was proud of being a member of the Lapeer community. He didn't know what caching was or what it meant to CITO, but he could be seen picking up trash and throwing them in cans as he walked around town, and he was always walking around, he walked everywhere. He was a huge fan of wrestling too, he knew every pro-wrestlers names. Sadly, at the age of 51, he lost his life on the railroad tracks on his way to the store. This cache was placed in his honor on the 5th anniversary of his death, but do not mourn his absence, instead celebrate that he existed and some of us had the privilage of meeting him. He was born in Texas April 3, 1960. He left behind many family and friends in Lapeer and Texas.
