THIS cache is not at these posted coordinates.
It was supposed to be hidden here but a certain Geocaching dog decided to grab and run off with it to some other location. Let me start at the beginning:
About five years ago Gibson and I were hiking a certain power trail, searching, finding, signing and replacing caches as we travelled. As I searched for a while in an unusually rocky area Gibson ran off following whatever scent he found in the woods. I was about to give up my search after 20 odd minutes when Gibson bounced back to me with something in his mouth and dropped it in from of me, tail wagging - it was the cache I was searching for. I gave him a 'Good Boy Pet' and a small treat, signed the cache and then look where to rehide it. Yes, I did ask Gibson where he found it but he wasn't sharing. I waiting until the GPSr settled on GZ and placed the cache there. I guess this was start of his geocaching escapades.
Now, back to the present. I searched for Gibson and the absconded cache container for several hours before I gave up and headed home. Low-and-behold! Who do I see curled up at the front door waiting to get in? Gibson!! Without the cache!!! He had left (hidden?) it on his ramble home. I've looked everywhere for that container; looked high and low for weeks to no avail. I have finally given up on ever finding it but I have published it to give you the chance of finding where he hid it - wherever it is. I guess I'll have to change his name to "Gibsonthecacher"!!!
