you are looking for a magnetic keysafe close to the golden valley light railway which runs from swanwick junction to the newlands inn (now closed). the railway opperates mainly on weekends and school holidays from April to October. the cache is near a footpath on the 35 acre country park adjacent to the Swanwick junction site of The midland railway- butterley. the midland railway butterley is a transport museum (mainly steam trains) which operates train rides together with other attractions (see their website). there is no parking near the cache which can be reached by the network of footpaths from ripley, riddings or swanwick. if visiting the railway centre it is a shortish walk from the swanwick junction site. the cache is not accessible for wheelchairs or buggys and children should be supervised by an adult. while the cache is in the vicinity of the narrow guage railway DO NOT CROSS THE WIRE FENCE near the tracks or stray onto the tracks, nor is it on the fence itself. stay safe and happy caching.
