Strange Brew includes several references to the Star Wars films including The Return of the Jedi which had not been released when Strange Brew was released. However, a real opportunity was missed in Strange Brew for a Star Wars reference. Angus MacInnes, the actor who plays Rosie, played Gold Leader who was one of the Rebel Alliance Y-Wing pilots who died during the attack on the Death Star in the original Star Wars.
