angle lake train Traditional Cache

ten years overdue and finally open for business!

originally approved by voters in 1996 to be built by 2006, this station was finally completed and opened for operation ten years over-due on september 24th 2016.  this is the last stop on the south end of the light rail system, you can take this from here all the way to the university of washington at the north end.  as of the publication of this cache, this is the first and only light rail station with a public parking garage. you can see the airport runway from the top floor of this garage!  future stations have been proposed to also feature parking garages.  this will be the last light rail station built until 2021.
