This cache is within 80 metres of my home, so as caches have to be at least 161 metres apart no one can place one closer! It is a camouflaged bison hanging in a hedge, now hanging on wire (previously on fishing line). There is a slight 'hole' in the hedge where the cache is hanging, though it is quite well hidden. You will need to bring a pen. Please do not try to remove the whole container; simply unscrew the base (being careful not to drop it or the log into the depths of the hedge!)
This is a path I use regularly as it is my shortest route to both work and the pub! It is usually not too busy - no one passed me on the six occasions I visited the location to get the coordinates - but do keep an eye out for muggles and doggles.
PLEASE do not park on Greenfield Close or Greenfield Way, the two closest roads. Both are residential culs-de-sac and as well as being little room for parking you will undoubtedly arouse suspicion at any time of day or night from residents and/or Neighbourhood Watch. There are plenty of places to park on Wrenthorpe Road, Valley Drive or Valley Crescent from where you can cut through to the path. The path itself is accessible for wheelchairs, but you might need someone to reach into the hedge for you. Congratulations to nottins for FTF.
