Geocache Description:

Cache placed with the kind permission of The National Trust.

Standish Woods is a beautiful and tranquil place where we love to go walking and exploring with our family and dogs. During Springtime this woodland paints the most spectacular picture of the most vibrant carpet of bluebells that surround the many footpaths and trails.  There is always an abundance of wildlife to see too.  If you are lucky, you may spot a buzzard or a roe deer hiding in the low trees and bushes.

To locate this Cache you can enjoy a 10 minute stroll from the small parking area at the top of Randwick Village.  The paths are clear and fairly accessible.  If you fancy a longer walk there are other caches that could link with ‘Bluebells’, so you can be spoilt by more of this stunning countryside.

You are looking for a Cache that is small and camouflaged.   Good luck!  The original contents in the cache are:

Log book to sign

Pen

‘Bluebell the Bee’ (a trackable Travel Bug)

Wooden bird

Pebble

Nail File

Nail Clippers

Thimble

Poppy Pin 2014
