When I was eight years old, I was given a boombox (back when they were cool). It opened up a whole new world to me having all this music at my finger tips. Growing up in Southern Pennsylvania, country music was everywhere. But one of the very first songs I heard was by Kenny Chesney. The song was "She Thinks My Tractor's Sexy". Now this song is really silly and there's a good number of people (non-country fans) who hate this song. But as an eight year old, I thought it was pretty sweet. That song by itself got me into country music and as I listened more and more to Kenny over the years, I was in awe with how much I could relate to his music in so many ways. With each new album, the songs kept getting better and better. I finally made it to one of his concerts in 2015 and have been to one a year ever since. This mystery series is a tribute to him and his amazing music. And who knows, maybe I'll introduce someone to their new favorite musician.
