A linear walk of 9 caches (suggested route is about 2½ miles, if you make the walk circular by walking back to the start along the Bowes Railway Path) placed around the Great North Forest Heritage Trail and linking with the Bowes Railway Path. Suggested parking is in Cotemede (just accros the road from #1) and alternative parking is in Springwell Village (just down the road from #9).
The caches are a variety of different sizes and containers and the terrain ranges from well used paths to quite overgrown in places. Thank you to Just-Us-Two for giving me some of the cache containers.
Cache specific information: From #2 continue heading straight down the road until the end at the houses. The path runs left round the side of the house and crosses the River Don. This stretch of the path was a bit overgrown in places when the cache was placed. The cache is a disco on the right hand side of the path.
FTF goes to Henry-Jones & g.o.caching!!
