On my way down from Quimper I used FM Radio trail because I haven't paid her a visit in, oh, so long! Eventually one must leave the lovely FM and walk boring Harbourview. But wait! Here is a neat little route to take....
I do not know if D Road, as indicated on OSM, is indeed shorter but it seems to me it cuts off a bit of a corner on Harbourview even it if does shave off less than a hundred metres or so. I do like to amble along these old logging roads which have now turned into a single track bike route edged with grass. Is it not a hundred times better swishing through these quiet, grassy trails rather than the slog along Harbourview? (don't worry about your wet pant legs. They'll dry. You are wearing quick drying hiking pants are you not???)
