Geocache Description:


Long Lick Creek is part of the Salt River Watershed. It originates in Jackson Hollow north of Bernheim Forest and empties into the Salt River adjacent to Fort Knox just west of Shepherdsville Ky.
The 3.2 mile long Hike Bike Trail is a combination of packed gravel and blacktop which runs along Lick Creek and Highway 245.  If you decide to hike or bike this trail be aware that this is not a loop trail and you will need to return along the same path for a total of 6.4 miles.  Parking for the trailhead is located at N37 55.540 W085 39.180.

You are looking for a small camouflaged RX container hidden near the creek.

This cache has been approved by Bernheim Arboretum and Research Forest.  Bernheim has established guidelines and a permitting process for this type of  activity. Details are available at Bernheim.org.
