Geocache Description:

The road cut along this section of the Bike Hike Trail has so many cracks and crevices to hide a cache, which one to choose? This lofty cache could be a little tricky and slick during wet conditions so use caution. During dry weather it should not be a problem. While at the cache look over at the nearby mini cave hole. I thought about hiding a cache there but saw evidence of recent critter usage so I left his home alone.
The 3.2 mile long Hike Bike Pike is a combination of packed gravel and blacktop which runs along Lick Creek and Highway 245. If you decide to hike or bike this trail be aware that this is not a loop trail and you will need to return along the same path for a total of 6.4 miles. Parking for the trailhead is located at N37 55.540 W085 39.180.


You are looking for a camouflaged PB container hidden within just a few feet of the trail. This cache has been approved by Bernheim Arboretum and Research Forest. Bernheim has established guidelines and a permitting process for this type of activity. Details are available at Bernheim.org.
