The low health score on this cache has remained below 60 since our last contact. I see no sign of any maintenance being done to correct this and I have had no response from the owner since my last contact. Due to the lack of response I have no idea if any corrective action has been taken. Consequently I am archiving the cache at this time. If the owner does happen to complete the maintenance required and wish to activate the cache again just let me know and I will consider unarchiving it once the issue is resolved.

Geocache Description:

Happy 60th Birthday General Byng School. The celebration was on October 6th 2016. Festivities began with an assembly followed by a carnival theme planned complete with food, bouncy castles and fun for the whole family. The school was also open for visitors to reminisce with photos and year books on display.

General Byng School is a K to Grade 9 school located in Winnipeg Manitoba. 

 

The school is named after Julian Byng, former Governor General of Canada.

As commander of the Canadian Corps from May 1916 to June 1917, Byng transformed the Canadians into a well-trained and effective striking force whose victory at Vimy Ridge was one of most spectacular attacks of World War 1.

This Geocach is located in a high traffic area so please be careful of muggles. Please bring a pencil.
