We’ve all had them….those harsh arrogant voices conveying that if you agree with them you’re “right” and if you disagree with them, you are plain and simply “wrong”. Over the years, I have learned that despite the initial impulse to run and hide, argue till my face is blue, and/or have self doubt, it is actually in talking it through with others that has helped me to rebound and reground with them. Well, with 45 years of practice, I now trust my instinct alerting me to these moments that if I offer myself a supportive, strength-based approach, I decrease my chance of emotional distress when most needed. Remember, just because someone says you are right, doesn’t mean that you are and the sequence also follows that just because someone says you are wrong, doesn’t mean that you are.
Bored yet….Well, here’s where it gets interesting. I’m absolutely right with the fact that this cache is called a “HYBRID” letterbox despite all what the know-it-all fellow cachers try to argue otherwise. Yes, I’m a rookie and MAYBE it’s just called a letterbox but I’m standing my ground anyway. So this goes out to EVERYONE that has had or wants a moment of self resilience. I’m sure at some point in your life that despite what other people say…you know you’re RIGHT (like me)!!! So this your chance….. SPEAK YOUR MIND, either in the notebook I have left or in your log. I’m not here to prove anything (IM RIGHT) or start any arguments (because I’m right anyway) but I am using this as a theme for people to speak out…looking forward to hearing stories. Happy Hunting!!!
