Geocache Description:

Originally constructed in 1854, by stonemason Duncan McRae, to house Reverend William Cochran, the rector of the nearby St. Andrew's-on-the-Red Anglican Church. This building is a prime example of mid-19th century Red River architecture and was reconstructed in the 1980's back to its original design after being a private residence and museum for a number of years. Currently operates seasonally by the St. Andrews Heritage Committee (owned by Parks Canada).
