Geocache Description:

Historic Dahlonega Series. If you like local history you might be interested in Mystery Cache GC6P97Q  "MOH"  or

multi cache GC5A4CV "Red, White, & Blue".

The historical building is the original Dahlonega jail built in 1884.  The first floor was the residence for the sheriff and his family.  The second floor was the cells for prisoners. Today busloads are for visitors to the area, not for prisoners. The cache is not on the jail property.
