This series takes you into the Harry Osborne State Forest which is managed by Washington State Department of Natural Resources (WSDNR). The area is popular with horsemen, mountain bikers, hikers, off-road vehicle aficionados and recreational target shooting enthusiasts (confined to a gravel pit). Maps of the forest and the Les Hilde Trail System can be found online. Permission has been granted by WSDNR for placement of these caches. None of the caches are intended to be difficult, so please tread lightly and be respectful in your search.to access the caches on this road you need to park at the gate(out of the way) and walk the road in, be mindful of very fast moving log trucks and associated vehicles, please be polite to these workers.
