Geocache Description:

Houston played a crucial role in getting humans to the Moon, and NASA's Johnson Space Center is home to the Moon rocks collected during the Apollo missions. Consequently, it is about time that Houston gets a geocache challenge to commemorate this important and endearing part of our history.

This is a cache to cache distance challenge. The cache is hidden at the posted coordinates, and you may sign the log at any time, but you cannot claim a find unless you have attained a total cache to cache distance equal to or greater than the distance from the Earth to the Moon (225,291 miles). If your total cache to cache distance is listed in your public profile, I can verify your qualifications once you log the cache. If this information is not available or your profile is not public, please post a screen shot showing that the challenge checker verified your qualifications, or post a screen shot of your profile indicating you have met or exceeded the required cumulative cache to cache distance. The D/T rating here is for the required amount of travel that is typically needed to get to the Moon, but the actual D/T rating for the physical cache is about a 1/1.5.
