Traditional Cache in Kivimäensalo area in the eastern part of town Pieksämäki.
Kivilampi on 35 hehtaarin kokoinen, syvä, kivipohjainen ja kirkasvetinen vesiallas. Rantaviivaa sillä on 4,8 km. Kokonsa puolesta sitä voisi hyvin kutsua järveksi.
Grillikatos ja muut alueen rakennukset muodostavat eräänlaisen tukikohdan alueella kalastaville ja retkeileville luonnon ystäville. Kivilammen alue kuului osana “Savonmuan Inari”-hankkeeseen, jonka tarkoituksena oli houkutella alueelle kalastajia, metsästäjiä ja eräretkeilijöitä. Metsähallitus rakennutti lammen ympärille nuotiopaikkoja ja laavuja. Paikalliset matkailuyrittäjät tarjosivat palvelujaan. Kaikki oli valmista, mutta jostain syystä homma ei lähtenyt lentoon ja rakennelmat jäivät lahoamaan.
Paikalle pääsee autolla, mutta talviaikaan metsätiet eivät ole välttämättä auratut.
Purkki on 1,5 dl vetoinen, sisältäen lokikirjan ja kynän.

Grill shelter and other buildings in the area form a kind of base for fishing, hikers and nature lovers. The area was part of "Savonmuan Inari" project, aimed at attracting fishermen, hunters and hikers. Metsähallitus built around the lake campfire sites and shelters. Local tourism entrepreneurs offered their services. Everything was ready, but for some reason the project was not successful and constructions were left to rot.
Its not sure that the roads are open during the winter season.
The cache container size is 1,5 dl box that includs Log Book and pen.
