I got this information from Faith, a sweet woman that grew up in this area and worked at this little store for years.
ACCORDING TO FAYE:
"Back in the good ole days, this used to be a booming little town. The little old lady that lived up the way, well.... she once showed me a photograph of this store from back in 1905. Did you know that this store has never shut down?? The little white building out there used to be the blacksmith, and there used to be a beer tavern and a little hotel on the corner. That little brown house over there....well, that used to be our dance hall."
