Jubara is a local aboriginal word for Fern Pool, a spectacular pool to the west of Dales Gorge. The clear, shimmering water is framed by lush, green ferns and is perfected with a cascading waterfall. Dales Gorge is a 100km (approx. 1hr) drive from Tom Price via Karijini Rd and is best attended during the early afternoon or late morning period. From the car park it is a short walk down the railed stairs to Fortescue Falls and a right turn and 10min walk will take you to Fern Pool (Jubara). The pool has a special aboriginal significance and it is requested that guests will avoid making loud noises and enter the pool quietly.
