Geocache Description:

This cache is part of the Auburn Geocaching Adventure 2016. If you're participating in the Adventure, be sure to record each cache's code word in your series passport to verify your visit.

Welcome back to Cameron Park! We like this 3.83 acre park so much, we thought you should give it another, deeper look. This cache will take you to the northern limit of the park. Here you will get a great view of the entirety of the area. Along the walking path there are benches to just admire the openness in the middle of the neighborhood.

In case you have never been here before, you will find a walking path, a play area, a basketball court, a baseball/softball backstop, some benches, a picnic table, and lots of open space!

Park History

Named for dairy farmer Bruce Cameron, who donated property for a park when his property was sold for a housing development. The park was dedicated in 1989.

2016 is the 125th anniversary of the incorporation of the City of Auburn, Washington. Auburn Parks, Arts and Recreation, auburntourism.com, and the WSGA are hosting the Auburn Geocaching Adventure 2016 - 20 caches placed in Auburn. The geocaches highlight some areas of historical significance, some parks, and some areas of general interest in Auburn. We hope you enjoy visiting the Auburn area, learning about its history and viewing its progress into the 21st Century.
