This species of Magnolia is one of the few Magnolia trees that retains its leaves. Just look at those leaves! Waxy, almost fake looking! And what’s with those seed pods! They look like alien pine cones. If you are here during the spring, you are in for a treat! There is nothing sweeter than a Magnolia tree in bloom.
