Derek was taken from this planet on 9/10/2016 at the young age of 39. Motor Cycle accident in Phoenix AZ. Slim was his Road name with the Motor cycle club community.
Derek & His other half Kathy worked at Meteor Crater across Hwy 40 for 8 years. I introduced them to Geocaching in 2009. They loved the sport. He was good at finding caches and calling out FOUND IT. Reason for creating this Cache to honor him. Great person to know with a Kind heart to help anyone.
He will be missed …… “Gone but Not Forgotten”.
Easy find right off of Hwy 40 exit. Parking is good. Container filled with fun items. Other caches in the area with great Railroad history. Happy Geocaching.
