A little cache with safe parking and turn around near our local swimming hole.
Gentle Annie is the back road between Raglan and Mt Larcom townships. There is history in these Hills. Gold mining and timber cutting proceeded today's farming industry. This was one of the old access routes for horse drawn vehicles, as there is a natural ford in the creek here. Which is now a popular, if shallow, swimming hole. The Dipper itself is best experienced in a north to south direction. Just imagine dragging a log behind your wagon to slow you down enough to keep your groceries dry and your horse alive.
