This is the first of three caches that will be placed in this area with a Redwood theme. Each cache will have increase in difficulty with a decrease in cache size. I am a teacher in the nearby school, and am using geocaching as a way build their navigational sense, community awareness, teaching how to use maps, writing, and having fun!
This cache is in a large, duct tape, pill bottle that should blend into this location (placed by my students and maintained by me), but should be a simple find as it is within arms-reach of the edge. This way you don't have to step on any plants to find it. There are some trinkets inside but remember to BYOP.
Please make sure the log gets secured into it's individual container securly, and placed back carefully into it's surroundings. I will be placing a tracker in this cache, if you are first, please assist in getting it south to the Redwoods in California. The students will be quite pleased!
