Geocache Description:

Eight caches along the route marched by Simon DeMontfort’s Army in his historic battle fought in 1265 against Prince Edward.  You are looking for a novel small container. please ensure the stopper lid that holds the log 'clicks shut' and please note: YOU NEED TWEEZERS TO REMOVE LOG! Difficulty rating is higher as its in a challenging MUGGLE area! (Please inform C.O. when log almost full)

The History

DeMontforts men will have been able to see the overwhelming numbers of the Kings armies from here as they continued to march along this road a few more feet before turning right in to the fields and in to battle.....

NOTE: The route when you step off Worcester Road, through the fields and orchards is essentially private land with permission granted by the landowner for the purposes of walking the marked ‘Battle Trail’ only. It is not a designated footpath!

Please, under no circumstances, leave the ‘marked trail’ at any time whilst on this land.

I hope you enjoy this historic series
