What is GIFF Weekend?
GIFF Weekend is your chance to watch the entire reel of the 16 finalist films from the 2016 Geocaching International Film Festival. On the weekend of November 3-7 only, geocachers will host geocaching events to watch these films. So pop your popcorn, get out your coziest blankets, and get ready—it’s a global geocaching movie night!
We hope this event will get approved by Geocaching HQ as an official GIFF event and if it does Attendees of registered 2016 GIFF Weekend Events will earn a souvenir.
Update: 15/10/16 - Great News this event has been approved as an Official GIFF Event! Which means all attendees will recieve a Souvenir!
The Event:
Bring munchies and a Bean Bag to join us at the Big Screen
(There will be chairs if you can't bring a Bean Bag)

The Scout Hut, Brickfield Lane, Chandlers Ford, Hampshire,

When:
Sunday 6th November,
1500 - 1730hrs
Screening starts promptly at 1530hrs and will last approximately one hour
For everyone that enjoyed it last year we hope you will again and new faces are also welcome, however this year we do have to contribute to the hall costs, so we are asking everyone for a 50p/£1 per person donation! Thanks in advance!
Being a Unique event this has the likelihood to get busy, it will be first come, first served!

Travel and Facilities:
Car - There is limited car parking right outside the Scout Hut at the published co-ordinates or more on-road available on Brickfield Lane
Train - Chandlers Ford train station is a five minute walk
There are no on-site refreshments although there is a local Pub around the corner on Bournemouth road which folks may wish to relocate to afterwards for food or a beverage....
