It is about time that an event should be held on the Northern end of the Sunshine Coast. It has been almost 12 months since the last one. This will provide a chance for some of the newer cachers to meet some of the not so newer cachers and discuss things about this wonderful game.
The event is to be held on the foreshores of Lake MacDonald right next door to the Botanical Gardens.
At the posted co-ordinates there are Bar - B - Que facilities and undercover seating. Therefore the weather will not be an issue. This event will be a VERY casual event. Bring your Drinks/Softdrinks and nibblies. There will be a simple sausage sizzle provided during the event.
The event will kick off at 11:00am and finish at 1:00pm.
There are toilet facilities and additional parking at the Botanical Gardens if required.
Make sure you bring your GPS or similar device with you, as you may need it for a couple of surprises during the event .

The lake is also a good spot to partake in water activities such as Kayaking or Canoeing so there is an opportunity for this activity if you wish. You will need to bring your own equipment.
