This cache is located at the entrance to the Altona Landcare Reserve which is a protected area for native plants, animals and birds to live. The North Para river runs though the top of this reserve which can be walked choosing from three different trails.
A short walk to this cache in a small container which is near the entrance to the Altona reserve where we frequently go for walks to view the amazing scenery, trees, flowers, birds and animals found in this part of the Southern Barossa.
