The market of San Lorenzo was known as "the Central Market" because offered the best and the biggest choise of food respect the street markets. It was composed by the building with butcherys, chickenshops, tripeshops, fishshops, grocerys, and the outside square with the greengrocers. During the '70 years, a second floor was built and the greengrocers were haused inside. A car park was made in the underground. This old and typical italian market could not keep the competition of new supermarkets and at the beginning of this century almost al shops closed. Luckely, few years ago it was converted in a center of typical restaurants and now is again full of life
