A Christmas Dinner event in Letterkenny. We will meet at the bandstand at 1730 (5:30PM) and after a photocall we will walk the distance to our selected restaurant. Event duration will be approximately 30 minutes and end at 1800 (6PM). There is no requirement to attend the meal, however after the event we will be going to the restaurant for the remainder of the evening. The bandstand is accessible to wheelchair users but there is a slope up to it from the main road.
The northwest doesn't seem to get many events and I thought I would hold one of these and see how many cachers might turn up from the area! Might suit the local cachers rather than having to go far to the east for the regular events. I hope to make this a regular event in the northwest.
This will be a dinner style event at a local chinese restaurant called Tin Tai. The address is on the corner of Lower Main Street and Convent Road. The restaurant was recommended by our most experienced Reviewer who is familiar with the area. Disabled/Wheelchair access to the restaurant can be had from Convent Road.
There isn't much of a menu on Tin Tai's facebook page but it will give you an idea!
Usual draw for FTF will take place. The FTF winner gets a commemorative mug! And also gets to throw the dice deciding on the location for the next event in mid June, in the middle of next year!
Please register your interest accordingly. This is vital but I will provisionally book for 8 people.
