[ITA] Vicino alla Stazione Centrale di Milano si trova piazza Luigi di Savoia: Questo signore è il nipote di Vittorio Emanuele II (il primo Re dell'Italia unita) deve la sua fama alle diverse spedizioni (polari e sulle vette dall'Alaska al K2) a cui partecipò.
La piazza e' costellata da simboli che ricordano il periodo del Regno d'Italia: dalla presenza di un imponente "Sala d'aspetto Reale" oggi adibita a museo e come luogo di manifestazioni, fino al nodo Savoia, simbolo della casata reale, impresso nella pavimentazione stradale.
L'edificio più particolare e' il palazzo delle poste: e' un edificio del periodo fascista costruito nel famoso stile del tempo (marmi e colonne) dove, sebbene siano state rimosse, sono ancora visibili le tracce delle lettere che ne indicavano la funzione: Regie Poste. Sui lati, sono inoltre ancora visibili i fregi con la sigla RP e i simboli dei fasci, rimossi con la nascita della Repubblica.
La cache è una scatoletta con logbook, matita e spazio per qualche piccolo TB.
P:S. Questa cache prende immeritatamente il posto di una precedente cache GC1H919 adesso archiviata.
Purtroppo l'artista "The Bart" non c'è più e anche se non lo ho conosciuto penso che a tutti i geocacher appassionati per le cose belle mancheranno queste cache capolavoro.

Near the Central Station of Milan is Piazza Luigi di Savoia: This gentleman is the grandson of Vittorio Emanuele II (the first king of united Italy) owes its fame to the different expeditions (polar and on from Alaska to K2 peaks) to which he participated.
The square and 'dotted with symbols that recall the period of the Kingdom of Italy: the presence of an imposing "the Royal Lounge" is now a museum and a place of events, up to the Savoy knot, a symbol of the royal house, imprinted in road paving.
The most peculiar building and 'the Post Office building: and' a building of the Fascist period, built in the famous style of the time (marble and columns) which, although they are removed, the traces of the letters indicated that the function can still be seen: royal Mail. On the sides, the friezes with the initials RP and the symbols of the beams, removed with the birth of the Republic are also still visible.
The cache is a container for the logbook, a pencil and a little room for a TB
P: S. This cache undeservedly takes the place of a previous GC1H919 cache now archived.
Unfortunately the artist "The Bart" is gone in the heaven and although I did not know him I think to all geocachers enthusiasts for beautiful things cache miss this masterpiece.
