Geocache Description:

The cache is not at the published coordinates but it is in the same suburb. To find the cache you need to solve the following puzzle.

Following are a bunch of numbers. It's probably no mystery that they are coordinates peppered around the suburb of Whitby. You do not need to visit any of these locations - you'll just get a random tour.

Originally this puzzle provided no information in addition to the preceding data but that was proving to be too impenetrable for most people. So the following additional information should provide some guidance:

There are 3 stages where the completion of each requires spotting a pattern in the available information.

Stage 1: Find out where the points are (you need a visualization tool).

Stage 2: A feature associated with each location should become apparent that lends itself to being sorted (note: keep the coordinates and the sortable attribute together).

Stage 3: Find the final coordinates emebdded in the sorted coordinate list. You are looking for 15 numbers like XX XX.XXX, YYY YY.YYY. Given that the cache is in Whitby somewhere at least 7 of those digits are implied which is what you're looking for.
