This pond has its own toad patrol each spring when hundreds of toads, newts and frogs cross the road and come here to breed. We have spent many hours here in all weathers with dozens of other volunteers to patrol the road night after night to rescue as many as we can and help them to get to the pond safely.
This is a very muggly area which makes this one very tricky.
