Aún se conserva el antiguo trazado del ferrocaril La Cieza-Gandia. Aqui un tramo que transcurre por la Plana de Muro hacia el norte en dirección  Agres.

En el barranco se contruyó una pared de presa para contencción y desvio de las aguas.
