Geocache Description:

Minersville 1st graveyard, pill container with log. Plenty of parking.

 

Small container with log only, bring a pen or pencil.


This is the site of the first graveyard in Minersville.  In an unknown grave within this fence lies Thomas Reed, the 1st settler.  Also here is Capt Lawrence, killed at the Battle of Petersburg, along with many Civil War, Span-Am, and WW1 Vets.  Cache is along the edge of the graveyard, but please pause to pay respect to those who lie here.
