Geocache Description:


Mahon Park is the largest and oldest park in the city. The Fen Burdett Stadium was opened in 1914 and was recently upgraded with a new artificial turf. Nearby is a monument celebrating 100 years of the city of North Vancouver and a water park for the kiddies. Enjoy the trails also - you may discover other caches along them.

The new playing field is now in use.

I enjoy the concept of urban camouflage so I designed my own container to blend into the surroundings. Bring your own pen and maybe tweezers. You should be able to find it with minimal searching off the sidewalk.

Pay attention to where you step however. I discovered that some dog owners figure their dogs should do their own clean up but I guess the dogs don't follow through. I have had to make a new container which has taken a while to get motivated. This is now container #6. Thanks.
