This is a traditional park and grab cache. It is one of a series we are putting together that will form a driving experience around Apokoronas and focus mainly on some of the traditional villages in the area.
This is the painted church of St Blaise which looks across the valley to the village of Kalamitsi Alexandrou. Inside the church, which mostly seems to be unlocked, are some beautiful wall paintings. The church commemorates some local men killed during war time. Italy, Turkey and Albania all seem to be mentioned although at the time of writing we don't have further information.
