The kids at the Unitarian Universalist Fellowship of Los Gatos built this one over the summer, and it is ready for readers to enjoy. Permission has been granted to include a geocache in the library.
The geocache was a notebook, and I started it off with a few flat "treasures" inside, such as stickers and bookmarks. However, the original notebook disappeared - perhaps a child thought it was a sticker book to take. The replacement, which also included stickers, also disappeared, so I have replaced it with a hide-a-key container.
When I placed the cache, it had rained the previous two days, and the wooden doors of the library were a bit stuck. When it is dry, it should be easier. However, you no longer need to open the doors to find the cache, only if you want to use the library itself.
Thanks to GeoGrins for mentioning the decorative work on the back side of the library - I hadn't even noticed it.
