Geocache Description:

侍トンネルって知ってる？夜行ってみようよ。

 
国道122号線の下を通る生活道のための小さな歩行者用トンネルです。
今はきれいに緑色に塗られちゃってかわいらしいトンネルですが、ちょっと前まではお化けが出るトンネル、通称「侍トンネル」として、川口の心霊スポットとして有名でした。
トンネルの内壁に、消そうとしても消えない侍に見えるシミがあったのだとか。
私が確認した20年ほど前の時には、落書きのような落ち武者（の生首？）の画でした。正直そんなに迫力があるわけでもオドロオドロしい感じもしませんでした。近所のおばあちゃんに聞いたところ、昔はもっと、浮世絵の様な武者できれいな画だったそうです。
今は・・・なんにもないんですけどね。
このあたりの近くにはグリーンセンターがあったりと、緑や畑があってなかなかのどかなところです。122号の喧騒を忘れらる昔ながらの風景をお楽しみください。
 
※車は通れない細道とトンネルです。ウェイポイントに示した場所か、その近くの7-11の駐車場を利用することをお勧めします。
キャッシュはウェイポイントから必ずトンネルを通らないと行けない場所に設置しました。夜でも全然怖くないですけどね。

A tunnel is called "samurai tunnel", and is feared.
This is a spirit spot. It's said that samurai's ghost appears here. Please be careful of a samurai ghost.
Actually, it's said that samurai's weird portrait was drawn on a wall in a tunnel the past.
