O'Neil's Bent DNA Traditional Cache

Time to dust off that old biochemistry degree!  Kelly O'Neil's DNA has gotten damaged, and it's up to you to figure out what happened!  Pull out your microscope and a some slides, and examine the evidence to determine the cause and effect of this strange mutation!

O'Neil was playing with some radioactive goop when he was abducted by alien jackelopes and probed in a most uncomfortable manner.  Ever since then, he's been exhibiting strange symptoms.  Not only can he grow long ears and antlers at will, but his jumping ability now puts an Olympian to shame!  Unfortunately, the effects aren't all positive:  he spooks easily, and has to shave at least once an hour because of a course fuzz that has developed all over his body.  Furthermore, the changes haven't stabilized - just yesterday his nose started twitching any time he gets within a mile of sagebrush!  In Wyoming, this is naturally quite a problem.

Please analyze his DNA and determine what exactly is happening, and how we can prevent (or at least control) further changes.  He would be ever so grateful...who knows, your help may just tip the balance that helps him become a superhero, instead of a supervillian!
