As a local, we all know how beautiful Lake Champlain can be all year, but the fall views are just amazing. Cache is placed around the launch site, so stealth is a must. I actually had to wait an hour to place the cache because it was so busy! Cache is a small sized Lock-N-Lock, with a log and a pencil. Please be careful. You do not need to get wet to get the cache, unless there is severe flooding in which that case the launch won't be accessible in the first place. I have only seen this once in my life. If I see it's getting too high I will disable the cache until it is safe. Happy caching!
