Desafio: Thanks to everyone who attended the December Kawartha Cachers breakfast and a big thank you to the elves, Team Murster and Team Stabeez for all their help with the auction - organizing the items, selling tickets and being auctioneers! Thanks to Muskie Dave & Hidden Treats for all the great caches they placed. Special thanks goes to all the cachers who brought such an amazing assortment of auction items - wow, super amazed and impressed with the work and thought that went into each and every item! Through your donations we sold lots of tickets and raised $700.00. I delivered the proceeds to Kawartha Food Share last week and they were thrilled with the donation. Each dollar donated give Kawartha Food Share $6.00 in buying power so in essence, we have provided $4,200 worth of food to help those that need it, especially at this time of the year! Thank you, thank you, thank you. Wishing everyone a very wonderful Cachemas and and lots of finds in 2017!

Geocache Description:

Come and join the Kawartha Cachers on the beautiful shores of Rice Lake for our December breakfast. This is the last breakfast of the year and once again will be at Elmhirst Resort on the beautiful shores of Rice Lake. 8:30 to 11:00 a.m. A fantastic breakfast buffet will be available for a fee.

There is room for 90 for breakfast. We do have to confirm numbers with the resort by December 1st so please, when logging your "will attend" please indicate the number of adults and children that will be in your group. I will assume you will be having breakfast unless you indicate that you are just "popping in" to the event.

We will also be doing our auction again this year so if you would like to bring something to donate, please let me know!
