Family Night at the Movies!
Geocaching International Film Festival Celebration

Geocache Description: From finding new favorite places, people, and puzzles, geocaching is full of Story Worthy Moments. The GIFF 2016 reel will contain an hour of carefully selected finalist films made by geocachers, for geocachers.

What? The Geocaching International Film Festival (GIFF) showcases the 16 best videos from geocachers around the world.

When? Showtime is Friday, November 4th at 7:00. The video collection is approximately one hour long. The logbook will be available in the lobby from 6:45pm to 8:15pm. Event ends at 8:15pm.

Where? Colwood Pacific Activity Centre, 2610 Rosebank Road, Colwood.

Cost? $3 for the film festival. There is no charge to enter the lobby and sign the logbook.

How long is the GIFF 2016 film reel? The entire film reel is approximately one hour long.

Are these films family-friendly? Absolutely. Kids are welcome.

Will I earn a souvenir for attending a GIFF Weekend Event? Geocachers who log "Attended" at this event will receive the official GIFF 2016 souvenir

  • Publicly accessible WiFi will be available from Shaw WiFi
  • Lots of parking!

Before the screening of the films, there will be popcorn and non-alcoholic refreshments for sale.
